Any updates on stickers for the blank button between the sport and DSC button? How about using a site like this? I'm thinking of "Eject" or "Fly".

 

Still waiting on Dragonflyer from AC, but he swears they're coming!

 

If you are doing the toggles ... the housing is white plastic > then painted matt black.
The OEM symbols are not painted... thats why the light shines through when your lights are on.

I have added switches to R53 and R56 empty panel and SCRATCHED off the black paint

I'm still working on it. I got all the giles I need to recreate the decals but haven't had the time to design them. Christmas has me all tied up in knots

I'm taking some much needed time off over the holiday so maybe I'll have some time to work on those. Oh wait that meens I have to work... Doh!!

Just got back form AMVIV and now I'm working on MOTD. I would like to have these decals by then so we will see how it goes.

Well folks if I had a means to print them I could design all your stickers. Thats what I do for a living and I love doing silly little designs like that. I keep telling myself I need to find a MINI business to go into design-wise, then I could quit my FT job

My OCD kicked in long ago. try looking at fingernail stickers. Sounds weird, but, one day before halloween I was looking for black polish and there they were. Tiny skull and crossbones and the like exactly the same size as above my switches. I added a couple of fake switches and the stickers. Made me really happy. Okay, so sometimes I'm easily amused.

 

OK SO WHERE ARE THEY!!?? I've been following this thread for awhile now just patiently waiting for the "buy now" button, and have sen it yet! come on guys, we're tryin' to make yah money!!

Kind of pricey, but if you want them now, they're the place. They're just like the ones MINI sent out a few years ago. Also, check out all the different sticker stuff they do inside and out. Pretty cool.

 

While ideal for the 1st gen mini's toggle bank, not sure they will fit my sport's button, even when trimmed. Definitely won't match well on the r56's toggle bank.

 

 

Rather than a sticker, what would be even better is a template where the symbol is the hole in the template. Then you take an Xacto knife and scrape off the black showing through the hole. Not only does it reveal the white plastic underneath, but it allows the light to show through at night.

Now THATS what I'm talking about!

edit: I just realized this is a Gen 2 thread...the toggle switch unit is entirely different.

 

If the decals are made from glow in the dark material, then we would not have to scrape anything which would allow us to change based on our mood?
