Will post pics when the sun gets a little lower

Thats what I want to do , mount them on my lower bumper . The outmotoring brackets are for the grill so should I pick up a set of the OEM brackets and mount them on the buttom or will the outmotoring brackets work as well on the bumper ?

thanks

LOL... thanks. What do you want to know?

If you mean the lights used in the photo, it's all natural light with a bit of flash fill from my Canon Digital Rebel - nothing fancy. If you mean the lights on my car, see the link in my sig - I have quite a few lighting add-ons and MODs in my '06 Cabrio, many with How-to's. The only thing not OEM in the photo above is the Optilux 2500's of course, and the amber replacement bulbs in my parking lamps (I disliked the OEM white bulbs and swapped them- a $2 MOD at the most).

THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANNA DO! Except off set the top ones from the bottom ones a little. That looks good! Makes me even more excited to be doing it to my MCS!

Like this: (Photoshopped, lights are NOT to scale!)

I just picked up a set of 500s from kragen for 75 bux. Now all I need is the brackets. I will take my bumper off today or tomorrow morning and see if I can my own brackets somehow.

Kgdblu- Did you use these brackets from OutMotoring for your fogs? If so, how do they mount to the bumper? Do they vibrate at all?
Thanks.

OutMotoring no longer sells the brackets you used Kgdblu. Those brackets you all are speaking of now are similar if not the exact OEM Bonnet Mounted Brackets. Those would work but would require bending. I'll prob. be using those and for my lower and higher lights. I'll keep everyone up to date.

thanks, mneeme! I thought I was losing my mind. Too bad they don't sell them anymore(I wonder why?), they're rock steady and very well engineered imho.

However, I have one pair leftover cuz we ended up using the stock brackets for my driving lights. you want 'em, chpsk8? i'll sell em to ya..

I just came back from homedepot. I got 2 brackets, they come in a pack of 4. I will take a pic of the package and the brackets on the bumper tomorrow and post them up. They are L shaped 4 by 4 i think. The fit is PERFECT. It cost me 4 bux and I will have just to drill one hole so I can mount them on the bumper. I will have pics up tom.

So I'll ask again...how do the angel eye lights work? The outer ring when the lights are normal and the intense inner light when on bright?? Have never seen any before so...

They can work in any number of ways. I have mine wired so they turn on when my parking lights turn on. You can wire them up to a separate switch too if you want. They stay lit when the bulb is on, but they're a bit hard to see once you turn on the main part of the light.

So when my parking lights are on the angel eyes are lit, when my normal lights are on the angel eyes are lit. Then I have the inners and outers on two separate switches. the inners are focused ahead, sorta like fog lights, but further down the road, and the outers are like floods, they throw light everywhere in front of the car. I usually only drive with the inners on, as the outers tend to cause glare.

I have the xenons too, and fogs, with all my lights on I have 8 forward facing lights. It's like a football stadium .

I just ordered the outmotoring brackets. I tryed to do my own but the place I was going to mount them was interfering with the tow hook and thats the only place I could mount them since there is a hole on the carrier where I could get behind it and bolt down the L shaped bracket without cutting holes anywhere else in the carrier. So outmotoring bracket it is.
