Rally light mod photos

I really want some rally lights...not much practical value in that I hardly ever even get to use my brights with all the traffic around here...but the bling factor is seriously high, the MINI just begs for them.

Personally, I prefer the bonnet-mounted style, but IMHO they look better with the stock grill than the Aero grill. I would really like to see photos of your installation. If you are so kind to do so, please tell me what kind and the approximate cost of the kit.

Also, has anybody mounted the lights on the bonnet using the Outmotoring brackets, and then switched to an aero grill? Did the brackets still work? Did they need moving or otherwise adjusted?

Thanks

Hella 500s ~$74 with wax and terry towels @ advance auto

I drilled into the plastic backer of the regular grill solid mount at no additional cost. Sorry just saw this now.

FYI-insanely functional over 1.3ofsolid steady beam so I can't use them as much as I want or I'dalways beblinding people.

I have the Outmotoring brackets with Hella 2500s on the stock non-aero grille, wired to my blank rear fog toggle. They look sweet and I think I did the math somewhere that the whole thing cost me less than $250, including the parts to make it work with the toggle. The lights and brackets on their own were around $100-120.

Kool , thanks alot. Did you get the fog lights or driving lights ? I do want to keep them on at some points like freeways and darker streets and mainly for canyon use at nights n etc. I am also thinking of taking my fog lights off for brake ducts so I think i should go with the fog lights. I would love to see what the lighting diffrence would be between fog n driving lights though.

Not sure I'm keen on the "angel eye" look. What is the outer circumferential light used for? What is it wired to? VERY interrested in how you wired it into the toggle bank...

Can't wait for pictures...

How are those mounted on the bumper? Got any closeups? I want a set that are about that height or even lower...
I want two light so I can still run a plate ('tis the law here), so the four light setup isnt an option for me.
Thanks
