Joey Mod!!! (pepper white) I love it..
i finally got around (in other words. got *****) to doing the joey mod. it's a LOT easier than i thought.
still a bit of work. (sorry guys. no step by step instructions..i was at work. doin headlights and working back and forth.)
but i know everyone loves pics. so enjoy!!
(and i know. headlight rings look like crap. i had wax on them....i forgot about it..)
also sorry for the crappy pics. my best camera i have is the one on my phone..
feel free to drop any comments.
(oh and for those wondering about the paint..i bought a spray can from minspeed.net $25 including shipping )

thanks guys!!
but to chadtoolio..i dont think it affects the light at all. the hids shine just as bright. and the driving lights arent affected cause i didnt paint where the light would reflect off from.
it might not let AS much light bounce around. but it's not noticeable. well at least not to me.

im really diggin it . i have to redo my rings tho. gotta try takin off the paint and repaint them
but buy the paint from minspeed. here's the link.
it IS costly tho..i used a lot when painting mine. im probably gonna buy another one sooner or later.
and we'll see how well it holds up. i dont think there will be a problem. well hopefully not.

It's an incredibly well done job, and the the white rings are a cool touch. I've always thought about painting mine body color. But the headlights do pop a little more than I like in white, kind of exagerates the eye effect of the headlights. Major props for doing it, it's totally unique, I'm just not sure if I like it. Anyway you've done a fantastic job at making your car unique & that is a huge part of the MINI ownership experience in my book, good work.

hopefully it'll look better than mine. i have little imperfections you cant see in the pictures but in person you can. maybe later on i'll do a quick touch up when i have time to open them up again.
but about redoing the rings black. i was thinking of that. we'll see. whether or not i decide to just repaint them the same color or make em black.
