"Black Jack" Door Handles!!

It all started with a question... did Outmotoring have any pics of the Black Jack door handles? Well the answer was no, but Aaron actually ordered a set and posted a pic on their website so I could see what they looked like, and in return, I sent him $$$

How do y'all think these'll look on my AB/S MCS, eh?

BIG thanks again to Outmotoring

Those do look really nice! I bet they will look great on your AB/S.

After reading this thread...
https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=95480
...with you asking about them, got me looking. I will be using them on my car, instead of having mine painted.

Thanks for the pic.

Actually that's why I didn't get the "standard" UJ handles. They would stand out more than I'd like. I think the Black Jack ones will blend better on DB

Any thoughts from the purists looking at this thread how these 'Black Jacks' would look on a dark silver/white 07?

I do like the subtle and toned down statement of these.

The only thing I don't like about all the replacement door handles is that they look like plastic. Not like painted metal... but plastic. It makes the car look, well, cheap, no matter how cool the design on them is. I don't know what it is about them that makes them look that way, but I suspect that it's the white plastic that all of them seem to use: the checkers and both UJs I've seen all have that look to me.

I like. If they would offer one with silver in place of the white, I'd have to go for it.

Yeah, silver might help with that plastic-look... Good idea.

That's coz they ARE plastic. I was going to get a set of stock chrome ones powdercoated black, but couldn't because of the lack of metal in the handle.

Yeah, I understand they're plastic... but the stock handles, or painted black handles don't LOOK like plastic. The replacement ones do for some reason (IMHO).

PGT is right..

-chrome is just metal subject to a bath of dichromate of potassium or sodium and then plated with a compound of chromium.
