You should see if the dealership can order in and instal part #54110150731 for you.
It's the dealer installed sliding canvas sunroof they sold for the R53 and some R56's in Europe. Had I known it was an option I would have probably gone that way myself instead of the panoramic glass one. All the fun of the sunroof without the weight penalty, and it's just plain cool.
