Sunroof possible?

Is the mini sunroof or and aftermarket sunroof possible? I obviously have an 07 with a standard roof, and have a loaner from the dealer with the moon roof. Wondered if anyone new if one could be put in?

probably

You should see if the dealership can order in and instal part #54110150731 for you.

It's the dealer installed sliding canvas sunroof they sold for the R53 and some R56's in Europe. Had I known it was an option I would have probably gone that way myself instead of the panoramic glass one. All the fun of the sunroof without the weight penalty, and it's just plain cool.

It sounds like the OP doesnt have a sunroof and would like to install one period... that means that he would probably have to get a hole cut in his roof. I think it can be done but at a hefty price and it probably wont be like the MINI sunroof.

Right, the part # I posted is for the dealer-installed, cut a hole in your non-sunroof car sunroof. Here's a link with a couple pics and the instructions:

Of course it's probably going to be a $2000 option by the time you get it installed.
For 1/4 that you could get the same look with these guys:
