Looks pretty cool. Nice to know people in the auto body business... I don't. Got a quote on having the dash and oval door inserts painted and it was pushing $800. Don't want it THAT badly.

BTW... hate to be the one to break this to you, but... you forgot one of the toggle dividers.

i especially like the toggles. Adds a little eye catcher to the lower portion of the stack. very cool!!

was there a final sealant over the paint for the gloss effect?

i painted my dash and door panels.
and let me tell you taking it all apart is a job but the final product if you have someone that knows how to paint or you can paint is amazing.

the hyper blue looks sweet next to the anthratic (spell?)

From what I've read, the oval on the door panels don't come off without doing major surgery (then you have to use epoxy or some strong adhesive to re-attach them). Most mask and paint them on the door panel then reinstall the panel... Hope this helps

they panels are on with a plastice weld type thing.
you have to drill out the welds.
painting them on the door panels can be a hassel and the the finish could be affected but i dont really know. the pieces are easier to work with off of the doors. i used construction adhesive to put them back together and they feel even more solid than before.
