OK, I finally broke down and ordered the Thermal R&D double wall slash tips for my one-ball...
It's the one in the front row, left end... 6" long, 3" out, 2.25" in so I'll have to do a little moddin' to make them fit... but they should look gooooood.... Think I'm gonna also try to stealth paint my one-ball muffler and see how that turns out....

These have 2.25" inlets (weld on) and OEM tailpipe is about 1.75"... so I'll have to get a little creative to shim them up or seal them...
Tips were $50 each at JC Whitney - didn't find them anywhere else...
I thought long and hard about buying an exhaust... Invidia or Alta or ???... but finally decided that I like the way the one-balll sounds (except when cold - but that's only 5 minutes) and performs... just don't like the way it looks... so I'm gonna fix that (I hope)... I just can't justify $700 for an exhaust any time soon...
Tell Dan I said hey! I think you'll like the results... I'll post pics when the project is complete - probably be a few weeks...

Installed mine today... Thermal R&D 3246A... complete write-up is here.
And here's the low angle view of my one-ball "extreme makeover" - blacked out the exhaust, skidplate, battery box heatshield and lower control arms.

I blacked out my tips this weekend & it came out pretty nice. I'll post some pics as soon as I have ones that don't show that I haven't washed the car in 2 months…

Paul, those Thermals look great -- I like how they fill in the bumper exhaust cut-out much better (your car even looks cleaner and your black plastic trim glossier with them on )
I can't wait until the link to the "complete write-up" is working so that I can see what I'll need to be doing in a couple of weeks

Thanks guys... you don't actually NEED a plasma cutter to a welder to do these... but it makes things go faster and easier...
I guess the upside of the fitting process being non-trivial is that mine will be more you-nique.
Or I could start making them on the side... but I don't think anyone will want to pay my labor rates...
