I had looked all over for the perfect roof graphic and I couldn't find what I wanted exactly. I talked extensively with a sign making friend of mine, who will be getting his MCS in July, about what we could do. We saw Minifinn's roof & thought we could work off of that. We color matched exterior sign making vinyl to my LY paint and my friend cut squares on his vinyl cutting plotter. We installed the yellow & black checks on a friday afternoon. Yes, we installed black ones to for 2 reasons; for uniformity between the sunroof & black paint and to protect the paint from uneven fading. It took about 3 1/2hrs cut we did not have very much money in material and the vinyls are very forgiving.

We started layout with the front of the car.

Then centered the middle row,

and Filled in the field.

The finished view from the back.

The Finshed Roof from the front and the sunroof still works.
