Yeah - at a little gas station outside the Nordschleife I also got a couple at the track café as I was waiting for them to airlift an unlucky M3 driver off the track.
Most Ringers believe it's bad karma to put one on without having driven the 'Ring. I put one on when plans were made to drive the 'Ring as a reminder of what I was looking forward to. However I don't think I'd do that again - it felt a little weird. I've since sold that car and put one I bought this summer at the track on my '07 JCW.
Hell, lots of Ringers don't think you should put one on outside the track area even if you've driven it!

I believe my response to them when I heard that was... you pay for my shipping and I'll gladly do the 'Ring in my own car. Until then press cars or rentals will have to suffice and stickers will come home in a bag.

I, too, am in the cap of "don't put the sticker on unless you've driven it".
Here's my track sticker source:

Their service is sometimes a little slow, but that's the only problem I've ever had with them.

When I sold my 03 MCS for the 06 MCS I needed new Dragon stickers. So I jumped in the car for a day trip to pick some up. Hey, any excuse to have fun.
I've been wanting to go to the 'Ring ever since I first ran it in a game almost 10 years ago. Hopefully one of these days.

Is your old decal 'vintage' 60s?

I don't have a decal yet, but this great thread has encouraged me to get one.

My second car was an '82 911SC and I went to RIR for a track day. That was in the late '80s. It wasn't that many laps, but man what a thrill coming out of the banked turn onto the front straight. I almost lost it once in Turn 6 (the hairpin after the esses) but somehow managed to keep it out of the dirt.
