Replacing my interior rear side panels

So I bought these panels because I'm **** and had some scratches on mine. Has anyone removed their interior panels that can share with me what to look out for. I assume I can just start prying them off, but if you've done it and can share your thoughts, let me know. Also any ideas as to what else I should do as long as the panels are off?

make sure you have plenty of new clips on hand. The old ones will most likely break.

The panels remove quite easily as i have done it numerous times. Work from the back of the car forward. Take your time and you will be fine. The hardest part is getting the panels back in and sitting flush with the windows.

I had been watching them on e-bay for almost three months, and the seller was not getting any bids. So I made him an offer for both panels of $200 including delivery. I had made that offer the first 30 days, but he wouldn't take it. I guess patience paid off.

Ha! I saw those on ebay, considered them, really considered them, then spent my money on something else. I'm the same way as you, mine are a bit scratched up, and I really want to fix that!

i saw those too and thought about getting them because of the cool silver trim on the speakers. however, i didnt want to spend 100 bucks each side. the hardest part about replacing those is taking out the rear seats. theres a trick to doing it that involves holding them at the right angle while you pull them out. theres a thread somewhere out there about how to do it.

Thanks 03Indigo, very helpful.

spingq, I thought $100 each was not bad. I just didn't want to pay for the $50 shipping charge for each one. So, $200 for both including shipping, I think isn't bad at all. They are about $400 each if you buy them new.

very cool 03Indigo, but honestly i was jealous of your interior before you changed it. I wish I didnt have just the totally boring stock black interior. I really love the tan interior panels and the two toned leather seats. only ones i like better are the red panels.

Ya know, my door cards and dash cover are for sale in the market place
Dang man, you're at it again? You got way too much free time.
Are you getting rid of the ostrich? I sure liked the black & tan, can't wait for pictures of the new.
