Since you asked and I've seen the side view too I'll interject. Now this is what I like and not to everyones tastes.
I'd not paint the arches on your car. With the other black accents, headlight rings, door handles, gas gap etc, I think it the black arches help to define the lines to the car. With the roof also being black I think body color arches will make it look quite odd. You will also need to pain the lower trim on the bumper above the splitter to make it look right. Doing that, in my eyes, will lose a lot of the fine detail of your MINI.
I'm not a huge fan of those wheels on your car. I'd be looking for something that visually lightens that area. Right now the arches, tires and wheels combine to make a black hole, in that photo. Possibly it's just the quality of the photo too.

Edit...
I'd also do something about the radiator showing through the grills. Either some black screen or the Bugguard for Beemers piece. Then spray any other exposed metal with a rattle can matte black.
It's all in the details...
