Removing Metallic Stripes???

Been searching the forums for this answer, but didn't find anything.

Trying to remove my bonnet strips. They are silver metallic w/ black trim. The black trimming was vinyl, and came off without a problem. The silver metallic is too thin and breaks and tears.

What is the best way to get this stuff off my mini, and out of my life?

Use a vinyl eraser like this one...

Your local body shop supply store should have them.

I had silver metallic stripes on my car when I first bought it(check my gallery) they started to fade and spot so I tried to peel them and the same thing happened to me, they just kept tearing and breaking. Pain in the ***!

Be advised, a vinyl eraser makes a big mess, and don't spend a long time in one spot. Move it around so the paint doesn't get too hot. Good luck.

Thanks for the info... and the sympathy.

Going to hit the auto store to see if they have anything like it there.
