Yes. I like it enough to be interested, myself.

What's the $$$???

Since it's only changing that lower lip (bumper cover is the same)... I would expect that it would be a fair bit cheaper than some of the other alternatives. Wishful thinking? Probably.

Maybe anwsered my own question: 44625 Yen (assuming that's Japanese) = $409.51

Now the question is, how mush to get it shipped?

I am not sure how much is the shipping cost to US, cos I live in Taiwan....

and I purchase this through the agent of Japanese.

Most of Japan companies would not like to ship their products outside the

country. If you want to purchase this, I could give you the agent's detail.

That is pretty sweet-I've been looking for something like that. If the price works out in line with the direct currency conversion I don't think I'll be getting one, though. A bit rich for me.

Please do- that lip looks just like what I've been looking for.

As others have said, though, the price really does seem pretty steep for just a lower lip kit...oh well, let's see it on the car!

Looks like these parts are being manufactured by a new division of Halt Design that's building exclusively for the MINI. You can see larger pics of the whole r56 kit on their site at http://www.halt-design.com/MDH-NewMINI.html

Close, but no cigar. IMO, the MHD lip looks more subtle and less tacked on than either the Hamann or AC Schnitzer kit.

Hamann:

AC Schnitzer:

Looks very similar to the plastic trim on the JCW aero kit.

Agreed. I think that's why I like it, although if it can't be found at a more reasonable price then it's probably better to just buck up for the whole JCW front bumper.

Thing would look alright if it was body color. Adding even MORE cheap-o black plastic to my MINI is not something I am interested in, at all!!!

I know a lot of folks seem to like the car better with painted flares and whatnot, but I personally think the flat black trim is more flattering to the MINI proportions. Lucky me, because it's one more thing I don't need to plan on paying to change up when my car arrives.

That said, I've been looking for a lip that would complement the existing black trim and I think this will do quite nicely. And if you're the color-keyed kinda guy, I think it would look great fully painted as well.

Same here. Especially with the full white/black theme I have going on with my MINI, the black plastic doesn't bother me at all. Hence this lip would be perfect.

lips take a lot of abuse, painted lips are for trailer queens (and drag queens )..
I'd love to see one of our north american suppliers stock these
