I was going to say, where is your interior? But then I remembered that you were having it redone. Is that right?

I wanted 5% on my doors to match the rest, but the shop refused to do it, so i have 35% on my doors, 5% on the back three. My windows are always down, i dont drive the car in the rain anyway, and i would love to have my windshield done, but dont think the cops would approve around here. I should get a doctors note or something from a friend whos a doctor. My eyes are really sensitive to light, so i have to wear sunglasses at night (green lenesed and polorized, so they arnt dark, but boy do they help), or i cant see anything when a car is comming at me. Never had that problem until every new car you could shake a stick at had halogens or xenons, and all there is around here is new cars! This area is 2 year new car lease happy (the whole bottom end of the provance actually) A tinted window would fix all that.

They should call it the "ray charles" look.

I remember seeing a white show car mini with black tint all the way around. Might have been from a japanese website.

No wonder - the driver is an 0011 - way better than an 007! Check his license.
0011s don't need to see out of the windshield!

Well I spoke too soon. I was pulled over by a statie and man did he give me a hard time about my 6% tint on the passanger/driver door (as well he should) I told him that I purchased the car with the tint (small white lie) and he took mercy on me and gave me a warning and told me I had 2 weeks to resolve this. Well facing a $250 fine when I got home I got out the razor blade and removed the tint from the driver/passanger door. The rear windows still have the 6% and I'm thinking about following the law and having the driver/passanger door tinted with the legal 35%.

Lesson learned..ignorance is not bliss in Massachusetts.

That makes sense in Dubai, where it can be something like 110ºF in summer.

I have a double layer also...only that the back three had the factory film on...and the front two had the window treatment done...then Limo over all 5 and a limo strip on the windshield...tint guy rated it at 2%.

I dont have too much trouble seeing...ocassionally when I turn I just need to shift so I can see out the windshield...I however do appreciate everyone that uses headlights during the daytime! It keeps the car cooler in the summer sun, and for electronics...cant steal what you cant see.

Also I dont have a back up light due to the tow kit...so backing up at night requires me to lower my windows. Havent gotten a ticket yet! (knock on wood) so no reason to be forced to change.

I have a few rock chips on my windshield, so when they crack I get a new one from Insurance...AZ is great for that. I am going to do a 35 over the windshield and go with the 5% strip again...

If I had to do it all over again...I wouldnt change a thing.

I saw once on a Mini a guy that had 5% all the way around and 35% on the windshield. That looked perfect to me. It looked nice and at the same time he told me that it wasnt really that hard to see from (unless it rains at night).

I have 15% all the way around and nothing on the windshield. But Im thinking of peeling it all off and getting that guys set up

has anyone ever tried setting up a back window that goes down for the mini??

my best friend has a Hummer H2 SUT and he has 5% all the way around n that back window going down is perfect for backing up at night!

i just got my moms lexus gs350 tinted up in 15% all around, and 35% on the windshield. ill snap some pics tomorow. its perfect for that car, as dark as i like my tint, on that car i wouldnt do 5% or double 5%, that car looks alot more classy with dark tint, but where you can still see through a little. cars like that i dont think look good with completely blacked out windows, like my front windows, lol
