haha! thats why i started at such a random time of day. People tend to ask questions when your headlights are in the oven.

Sorry to ask, but is it 200 degrees F or C.
I live in Switzerland and out here we use Celcius.

Oh I am SO doing this on Lloyd as soon as he is back from the Body shop! (Sounds worse than it is. Car came with a White Roof and I am switching it to black!) Planning a blacked out look over the Laser Blue with red accents. I might try getting some small amount of red in the headlamps as well. Might tie everything together!
Thanks for the write up!

If Lloyd has halogens there's definitely some prime spots for red if you've got a steady hand and don't mind hand-painting some parts of it.

ICHY600, that is the exact same thing I am going to do. I love the look with the chrome, and the rest all black. SWEET!!

This car has the standard headlamps. But I may (or may not) have a trick or two up my sleeve. Just anxious to see it back from the shop!

I'm lovin' the PW stuff here!
I'm not blacking out my car, but what do you think about this? Just painting the chrome trim ring inside satin black. I'd also get rid of the orange stuff at that point and get some of these as well:

Hi I've just noticed this thread, think this looks really cool. Made me think of the first R56 with this mod that was built buy BMW in April 2007. When they produced the millionth MINI this had Black headlamps, here is a link with some pictures may someone with a Pepper White S could create a replica?

You're with Alta?
Aren't you getting that Apollo K&N cold air intake? Do you think that will have decent improvement on a non S?
