Thanks for all of the updates and warnings guys. this is certainly a piece that I think a lot of us are interested in. But if the service is gonna be like this, whats the point. Maybe another vendor could get on production of a similar product. There seems to be a market for it... Hint Hint... keep us posted because if this all turns around I'd love to get one.
If they do decide to make another one. They should consider having it integrated into the factory piece that is normally there so that there is no need for those ugly retainer springs...
To update, I haven't heard a word from Blake....I would imagine he's heard something from the Postal Service by now??? And I too still want one of these covers....there has got to be another vendor somewhere....if I had the means to produce these I would....
I have yet to hear anything from Blake nor have I received my vent cover....the postal inspector said I had to wait atleast 30 days before I could procede with my complaint.....I guess time is up.....
I emailed Blake a second time on 5/5/08, got an apologetic email within 24 hours,
and received my vent cover today (5/8/08) by priority mail.
I like it.
Just in time for warmer weather.
I too have received an IM from Blake....he said he was going to ship out my vent cover yesterday....I'll keep an eye out for it and update when i receive it......
