I have seen splitters adjusted down (even done it myself for auto-x) and not re adjusted just about flat for the highway ... They will bend, break and even pull the bumper.
Mine is attached with 6mm bolts at the chin / bumper connection and, the standoffs are needed (not an option)
Mine won't break !
PM me if you want some info

Mine go thtough the bumper skin and use fender washers ..
My splitters come with ALL hardware, How to modify to use bolts on the chin (not the OEM self tappers) and even instructions to remove the bumper.
PS; Sidewalks / curbs / cones ... dont wipe mine out

I can honeslty say that I have put the Wyvern through hell frozen over and back. I went to Myrtle Beach for spring break and coming back to NW Ohio through the lovely snow storm we got about a month ago...
The Wyvern held up while I was driving in snow up to the top of the lower grill and higher When I was done driving(columbus area), the snow was up to my hood scoop. No Joke!. I was drifting my car afloat the snow and I had no problems, even blasted through a pile that was 2' deep(avoiding an accident).
Brian I need to give you a call. It has been a few weeks and I have some news and will continue working on the drawings
Chris.

Sounds like a good warranty to me
They would have to do something real stupid, but hey it could happen...
The hell and back was truely that...hell and back.
I love to drive through the worst conditions, I don't know why, I jsut like it. These were probably some of the worst and I had a blast(I know I have a sick sence of enjoyment with cars and road conditions)
But, seriously there is absoluteley nothing wrong with mine
Talk to you soon Brian.

this is how i made it
Hi yes you line up the page and stik d'em togeter you will no have you template.. follow the number.. i have use 1/4 marine plywood and have put 2 coat of epoxie sand'it and went to the local paint shop to paint'it black. To secure the spliter i used 5 longer screw not to long not to damage the AC rad and 1 bolt 1/4 in bolt whit look nut to secure the the spare hole on the spliter and 2 turnbocle plus blue looktite on every screw..ps you have to remove the bumper for the intalation((turnbocle)) note that the turnbocle are only held in the platic of the bumber..and 2 1 inch washer are instal on each side off the bumper...and yes i have put 1 foot long off double face 3m tape in between bumper and the spliter (center)..I have brought the car to hight speed and the spliter is stil there..
