delete rear seat?

i've been trying to find out about getting rid of my rear seat, i'm a single guy and i think i've used all of never. so is there any kit that removes it so i can possibly use that area as a luggage area and my trunk for the nitrous bottle, sub, and amps.

i've seen it for the new minis but not the 1st gen, i have a first gen mcs.

anyone else agree, the back seat is so small, and i have my seat so far back on my side that it's useless accept for the passenger side, i'd rather just have a parcel shelf of sorts!

I have never liked the plastic ones...but that's me.
The wood one is really easy and does not take much time. I went a few more steps and added extra bracing and did the carpet like an Upholsterer would. I rolled the edges to made sure it looked well finished ect...

Just get the one you posted and either get it glassed, or cover it with carpet yourself. Unless you do car shows a lot, I'd suggest the carpet for wear and tear reasons. Most people use wood inn their custom deletes. This is by far the cheapest method, but I personally don't like wood stuff in my car.

Order a RSD from COR BLMY; i'm VERY happy with mine, and it matches my stock black carpet very well. Tested with weight of 4 new tires in the rear hatch.

EDIT: I'd take pics if my camera was home with me. It's at the parent's house.

Why does it have to be flat? With the seat depressions left in place, things cradle nicely in the hollows, and there are more fixtures to attach tie-downs to when extra security is needed. Floor coverings help suppress road noise. https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=59186

^ I do like that k-huevo I just like the "hidden" area and the smoothness for an entire cargo area.

That's nice. I was under the impression you have to have a GP vin # before you can order any GP Parts. I've tried to do this with Classic, and when they asked me if I had a GP, I couldn't lie...

There are all kinds of ways to fill the gap once you remive the seats .I used the plastic " rear seat delete kit " that was sold on this site a few years ago as a base for a Carbon Fiber version.
