Cutting middle aero grille

Hey, I just got the aero grille for my stock mcs bumper and installed the upper one this afternoon. Before I start cutting on the middle grille, could anybody tell me the EXACT amount to cut off all the way around so maybe I can save myself some time and frustration from cutting and fitting over and over. I've read around and the closest thing I can get to exact is approximately 1/4" all around. Is this right??
Thanks,
Rich

Just use the one that you took off as a template, thats what I did. If you don't have the original piece then the areas that need the most trimming are the ends, I think you can get away with not having to trim the middle part of the grill, just trim then fit it and see what needs to be trimmed some more.
