While I certainly understand the need to suggest the search function, is this response really necessary?

I've never seen this kid before in my life...what an imagination...
getting good already, but back on subject, its gonna pretty much look like normal, but it would be cool to leave bonnet stripes in Carbon Fiber, that would be sweet I think

Yea...it would look exactly like Kalvin's.....AZ's just being a head-bobber again.
Yep - a painted CF hood will look just like a metal hood, unless you leave part of the weave exposed.
Eventually, once the aerospace industry stops hogging all the carbon fiber and the prices drop, it'll become just another material, like fiberglas, mild steel, polyurethane and aluminum. When that happens, we'll start seeing more painted CF parts/panels from the factory. Right now, the automotive/motorcycle community is still in the "infatuation" stage with CF, so we're mostly displaying it as as a design element, rather than using it for its structural advantages.
(Not that there's anything wrong with that - I'm a carbon-fiber ***** myself.)
It's because they dont make a Cooper hood or else I would... . Hey, it looks like there are small perfections in the hood....plus a little overspray on your splitter... Beoooootch...

Hey AZ I'm guessing it's a VIS Bonnet you have there... I have the Bonnet and Hatch on the way, How difficult was it fitting the Bonnet? And what should I look for when fitting.
ahhhh, I had help from UKSUV, and apparently the newer VIS hoods are easier. Go to a local hardware (I used a Lowes) and get a box of different size washers and screws. You will need these to do the bottom screw of the headlights(washers because there is no hole to insert) and for the trim. dont attempt to use the clips, you'll break the hood. As for the seating of the hood...I used washers again inbetween the hood and the rails to get it to level better with the car. Its really just a luck and trial and error on fittment...Give yourself a couple hours for sure.
As for the hatch, I have no clue
Do a write up if you can with pictures...thinking about it now I wish I had done so with the hood to help you out! Feel free to drop a PM if you have any questions
