Don't worry man. It's an easy fix. You need 4 pre-wired 3mm LEDs. You can get these from Oznium.com. Basically, the LEDs from the factory have an inverter on them. It's the little black box attached to the LEDs wiring. This was unnecessary. They should have used resistors instead. The LEDs from oznium are pre-wired with a resistor to handle the 12volts from the car's electrical system. I'll do a write up on how to fix them. I have a feeling more people are going to start having these problems. The best thing about this, now you can make the rings any color you want. So again, it's an easy fix. I've been meaning to do a write up on these lights for a while now, but just haven't had the time. Since you have reported a problem, I'll go ahead and do the write up ASAP. Look for a write up in the next few days. Let me know if there is anything I can do until then.

No problem. I'm probably getting off work early tomorrow, so if I do, I'll do a write up on how to replace the LEDs in the lights. I was pi$$ed when one of mine went out, but realized why. Again, it's a real simple fix.

Tim, do you still have your ebay lights? If so who was the seller you got yours from? I'm looking to get some.

so did the same except wired the halos to my fog lights(i hit a blown out truck tire and it broke both fog lights and took the bottom of my bumper and skid plate off) which then i could turn the halos on with the switch. it worked when i tested the halos after did the wiring but once i went to pull the car out of the garage the car wouldn't start.

heres a video explaining whats going on

thanks,
J

So I've seen these projectors on ebay and love the look and price but I've had a couple questions and maybe you guys know.

1. How bad is the wiring if im not doing anything fancy?
2. what kind of controls do you have inside the car for the headlights? is it still just the basic on/high/ and your fog controls or did you add more because I see there are a few more lights in these.
3. when you talk "parking lights" what are you talking about? (ik its a stupid ?)
4. in relation to the first ? do all the wires match up to the stock plugs? and are any additional fuses needed in the under hood box?

1. The wiring for the headlights themselves (high and low beams) are plug and play, meaning the factory wiring on the car plugs right into the aftermarket headlight wiring. All other lights (Halos and extra bulb) need to be sliced into another source. I didn't even wire up that extra bulb in there, only the Halo ring.
2. The headlights turn on and off with the OEM light stalk switch. Depending on how you wired the other lights, then either they'll come on with the OEM switch or you can add a separate switch. I recommend tieing into the OEM switch wiring.
3. If you look down on the front bumper, you have two lights. One in the driver's side and one on the passenger side. Inside these housings are two bulbs. One is the turn signal and the other is the parking light. If you turn your switch to the first option, this turns your parking lights on. That bulb in the light on the front bumper is where you would want to splice in the Halo rings.
4. Again, the wiring for the actual headlights (high and low beams) is plug and play. No fuses are needed for these lights.

If you need any help or more information, let me know.

One thing that I just thought about was the dunning lights. is there a separate wiring for the running lights and do these new projector halos have running lights?
