nut size?

you can laugh!

seriously i'm not one of those guys who can eyeball a bolt and know exactly what sized nut it needs.

i got an oem spoiler and it didn't come with any nuts. anyone know the size offhand. 10mm? 11mm? and when looking do i get M5 M6? the whole metric thing... i'm outta touch on it.

I'm not sure because I've never seen the bolt, but I can eyeball that stuff and know which size socket to use - metric only. I still do not understand how all those fractions work out.

ha ha! but, i was being serious! i know that seems like a really dumb question but, non of the spare nuts i had around the home fit.

FWIW- i found the nut size for the OEM spoiler is a 6mm-1.0. had to take the spoiler into home depot.

My Cooper spoiler I thought was 10mm. 6mm seems waaaay too small..But who knows...I keep dropping my nuts all the time...
