Okay so here is the deal...

Mini Cooper CF Hatch GB is in full effect...
Cost will vary depending on shipping.
Therefore, for right now, get with any locals who are also interested and see if all can be shipped to one location
This way shipping is cheaper and split, and the boxes will be stronger. The hatch only weighs 8-10 pounds, therefore many can be packed into one box.

Here in Arizona, we have 5 who already want one, and shipping is to one location, therefore cost of shipping is down (which is around 175 per hood ) however if we group buy 12, the cost of the hood is cheaper, but this may take up to 6 weeks to be made...therefore in the meantime, see how many you want to one location so we can just have the factory ship to you and we eat the tax free loan they hold on the money until the product is acutally shipped.

Sorry guy's for not responding, I've been a little busy the last few weeks. The VIS Bonnet,Hatch and Fenders are holding up very well. The only problem with the hatch is it does not come pre-drilled for the interior and exterior trim pieces (and the ones that are predrilled need to redrilled). So far, i've left the interior off while trying talk myself into doing it some weekend. I'm still trying to figure out if I can put a spoiler on without ripping it out of the CF. Another downside.... Be ready for constant looks from everyone and I mean everyone..My son was pulled over by a state trooper last week just to take a look....

Okay heres the update. The cost of the hatch is 500 "We" (TeamHalfAss) need to put down a deposit on all the hatchs in order to lock in this rate. Therefore, that is extended on to you (if you want one)

The deposit is $250 and you are looking at up to 6 weeks for production + shipping time.
May not be appealing, however thats what its gonna take.
The deposit is non-refundable, because it is non-refundable to THA.

Shipping:
As I said before, the more, the cheaper...
Indiviual shipping is 175 for the hatch. We might be able to work something out, but know this is being shipped from the factory and not from us...

THA is having 5 shipped together to one location, therefore they quoted the shipping at 330 thats 66 bucks a pop and much cheaper than indivual. THe price really drops for shipping when you get atleast 3 together, otherwise expect atleast 100 or the 175 for individual...

Alright, there was enough people that stated they wanted hoods that I asked about the GroupRate. Cost of Hood is 475, and the shipping rates will be a bit more expensive than the hatch. More info to come...

Shipping is still the same to commercial...the break happens when you get a few sent to one place. If someone in your group wants a hatch, know that their shipping charges are more...

What would be really cool is if one person in each area (shipping location) would be willing to step up and organize your shipment/payment. The only reason we're getting a break is cause we're working as a community.

 

I dont know if I have all the tools down there, You would be better off contacting CustomAV and using his body guy. That type of thing. Especially for the window.

Can they do a vented hood in CF?

 

ViS told me that the only item they would mod is the window washer jets (no jets) but that would be a one off and cost you mad coin. Otherwise...NO. Plus, to get in on this GB it would cost you a grand for locking my spring thread...
