Anyone know how you would take off the center emblem of the steering wheel?

 

I wouldn't mess with it - the airbag is right underneath.

 

according to the schematics for assembly, it is all one unit connected to the airbag, although it does lift upwards.... I would guess that it is possible to remove the actual emblem, but in order to replace any part of it, you'd have to purchase the whole airbag assemble at a cost (I forget - $100 - $300)

You can however, get a decal made to cover it.
