'scuse me while I whip this out....
There are lots of great MINI's out there and it really depends on your taste. This thread is great cause it's giving me a one stop shopping place for the Alliance Magazine Featured MINI.
But I'm biased....
But which incarnation....
So many changes..so much fun..

That's a photo I took of my car the second it got off the delivery truck back in June of '06. I assume you're getting a DS/B Mini. Good choice!!!

Well of all the different MINIs, I think the R50 was naturally the best looking, and of the R50's I would have to say Rally's old Cooper was the nicest. More props for Dopamine's R53, and Gnatster's R53 with the kickass vented hood, with molded in airscoop. Don't have pics handy of those cars though. So, from PhillyMINI, Howard's 1999 40th anniversary Mini, and Eric, from Helix, R56 mule.

I wanted PW when I was buying but I went used and wound up with IB. Now I totally love IB but Alpha Motorings PW MCS has to be one of my favorites.

I've also taken a lot of inspiration from Kenchan.

It's really hard to capture the true drop, it looks a lot lower in person, I guess it's cause the black arches kinda mask in with the black tire and you don't see the gap, but with painted arches the drop is easier to be captured on camera. I lowered the rear coils a bit more when I installed the H-Sport upper and lower control arms and did an alignment, so now the drop is pretty consistent all the way around, but I can't make it through a single speed bump unless I angle the car really slowly, some driveways....yea I don't even bother trying!
Luckily I can make it up my own! Just have to be careful getting out of it as I love on a big hill and my driveway is kinda long but I don't really have any sudden change of steepness throughout my driveway.
