I know the pieces on the doors just pull up, but it looks like the piece below the windshield has clips...

...numbers 3, 6, 7...also looks like there is a screw and a "nutsert" on the ends, numbers 4 and 5.
Seems like an awful lot for a piece of molding.

The rear ones appear to have clips as well...

...numbers 8 and 9, and numbers 5 and 6 on the boot piece.

Do you want to remove them or just black them out?

Remove, I've got a project in the works

Looked in the Bentley manual but can't seem to find anything, so thus far those RealOEM sketches are the best resource.

Wait wait wait...You need to unscrew and unclip all that just to get it off??!

I want to black mine out but I dont want to use vinyl. But I cant spray it because the rubber on the top and bottom are in the way.

I did mine in electrical tape, super fast and super super easy. Left no residue, two sections were messing up at the ends after a few months so I pulled it up and redid them in 10 minutes last night. Electrical tape was definitely for the win.

Outmotoring.com sell a "beltline kit" cheap and it is easy to apply.

I once took of my rear belt line trim to clean out all the accumulated dust, gravel, and plant debris. All it took was some guts and a lot of pulling. The clips are similar to the ones on the top of the inside door trim, at least back here.

i've got electrical tape on my beltline too but it keeps peeling on the ends. i gave it slack in order for it to shrink up in the sun but it's still messy. do you cut it precisely at the end or do you wrap it to the inside?

Use a "pin stripe tape" not electrical. Outmotoring.com sells beltline kit for 12.95 - so it's not much different than e-tape in cost.
