Has anybody installed aftermarket fog lights? I was looking at a set from PIAA, and was wanting to just wire them into the parking lights. Has anybody done this? Any tips? Any ideas for types of lights to look at?

 

you can use pretty much any light set up. I do recommend PIAA or Hella. I installed big hellas and the mini dealer lights, and love it. There is a bunch of older topics on this subject, and I suggest you check it out! click the search button.

also, one of the sponsers (i think mini mania) has a bunch of pre-made options. You will find out the mounting of the lightsis the hardest part.

Be careful how you wire them. If you had stock lights and swapped them out for a 4 light bar, like I did, you will find the relay will cook if the ights are on too long. I had to do a bit of rewiring to split them bewtween two relays to keep this from happening

I have always wanted a set of Helle Blacklights for my Dodge Ram but since I got rid of her for a MSC I was thinking they might look pretty sick on my DS/B MSC too. If anyone has seen these on a Mini please send pics.
