Unique Tail Lights

I was reading the latest issue of MC2 ..on page 55 in the upper right corner there is a cool looking dark grey and black R53 with some very cool looking tail lights. I've seen similar lights on another car at some point in my past, yet can't remember what kind of car it was? In any case, I did some searches and found that those lights exist for the R53 but not really for the R56. I say not really because i did find one sight that says they have them, yet when you click on the image it takes you to a photo of some lame Ford
Taurus from the early 90's??? DOH??

Here is a link to the lights ...they are black w/ triple round lights, (the site says they are for the 2008 Cooper S -yet I seriously doubt it).
http://www.yourhotcar.com/product/li...&_Tail_Lights/

I contacted the website a couple days ago, yet like their lame site they don't seem to have it together enough to get back to me either?

Anyone know if these lights exist for the R56???

...by the way, I'd say that 95% of the products on this site are totally ghetto. I am thinking that if the lights exist on their site they are cheap as heck. Yet, I am looking for high quality ones ..if anyone knows where you can get 'em. The ones on the Mini in the magazine looked sweet.

No company makes aftermarket tails for the R56 yet.

The tail lights you like are APC's. They are for the Gen 1 cars ONLY. That company went out of buisness and was absorbed by another company, but the dont make these tail lights any more.

The link you show takes you to a picture of a Buick LeSabre because it is for a brake light pulsar, not a set of tail lights. The picture is just being used as a button for tail light related items.

Thanks for the info ...the site was misleading showing a photo of a tail light for what it said was a 2008 Mini S then taking you to a Buick LeSabre pulsar light? !!!

I'll check out the LED ones from newministuff ...yet i'll probably hold out til the ones I want are created for the R56.

navigated their site and found this. Only for 02-06 mc......

You may want to check with some other NAMR's here to see if they Like APC tailights first. Some companies have moisture issues/bad seals

I had the apc tails. they were not bad at all. I loved them actually. I just sold my set for the LED tails though. You can get them on eBay for about 50 dollars. but like previously mentioned. 02-06 only.

EDIT: here are the APC ones...I suggest you find a new company to buy from they are charging $150 for these tail lights. go here and you can see eBay has them for 100 bux less. http://motors.shop.ebay.com/items/Pa...4506Q2ec0Q2em1

here is a pic from the site.

This might be true on some intsances, but I actually like these lights, and the quality is top notch. I have a set on mine. Sounds like someone is a hater.
