I am going to install the front and rear foglight kit. Does anyone have any tips on the install? Any insight would be helpful.

Does the foglight activation come automatically with the v36 computer upgrade?

I recently got the v36 upgrade, (worked wonders) and mentioned to the dealer that I also wanted to activate my rear fogs...which they charged me $67 to do! I will be calling them if I find that the rear fogs are automatically "on" in the v36...

I came home and installed the new toggle panel yesterday--very easy to do--I followed these instructions...

http://www.thelivingoods.com/mini/ToggleSwitchPanel/

Now I'm getting ready to tackle the fronts...thanks for all the helpful info here...
curious to see how my daytime running lights affect front fog performance--anybody else with DRL's comment? thanks, Jenni

Greatbear,

I have been searching for a "how to remove the front bumper" and I'm not finding anything as BASIC as I'm looking for...you mentioned a "how to" and I'm wondering if you ever got around to it or?

I have it half apart and its not off yet...

I have front fog retrofit to install, and a new lower grill, but now that I'm in this deep I just want to know how to get it off! (I have the retro fog instructions, but they kind of start after the bumper is already off, at least the ones I found...)

Any help would be appreciated--thanks

I have tried to remove the inner fender liner but I have stripped the plastic screws so this is now NOT on option. Is there a schematic of how to remove the front bumper cover to get to the front foglights? All I want to do is change the friggin bulbs. Just need to know where the screws are so I don't remove something that is not neccessary. Thanks

I'm confused on this, are you talking about the pins for the front or the rear? My rear fog lamp is not working AFTER the Dealer programmed it. I told him, I'd troubleshhot firts, but I haven't gooten that done yet.

That post by Hotelcalif (from 2003!) refers to the front fogs. There was an error in the original instructions that has been corrected in the new instructions (also includes rear fog instructions if you need it).
