New paint!!!

So i work at a body shop and the weather is starting to get nice, so i decided that its time for a change.

Got out all of the little dings and dents and painted the car hole car hyper blue again and added a lil 2 tune with midnight black pearl..(added more blue pearl so it stands out a little more). still need to add the pinstripe around design. but im not sure what color. what color do u think??? car still needs lowered and i plan on getting new wheels be4 summer hits.

let me know what u think

I think a really flashy neon green pinstripe with a slight blue gap between the black designs and pinstripe would set it off nicely.

Whatever you decide to do, I think the design you painted on is awesome!

Personally I would have had the black designs on the boot symmetrical, but thats just me. Other wise, I completely love it! Hyper Blue is the best, the front and the sides look wicked. Maybe look into an M7 ultimate grille on the bottom front bumper. Plus on the rear bumper.
Nice ride man!!!

Love it! I like the idea of lime green as an accent, but white or silver would look good too!

Looks sick. How much do you normally charge for a paint job like that? Just the hyper blue paint part.

Rock on man! Cars are a canvas and you made a masterpiece! I love the asymetrical boot personally. Gives it that much more flavor. The only thing wrong is that people are going to be memorized by your paint and end up rear-ending you cause they want a closer look.

The design isn't for me, but do I like the way you extended the black down below the windows onto the car's "shoulders."

For pinstripe color I think you'll have to experiment to figure how much you want the graphic to stand out. White or silver would make it pop, but the black-on-blue makes me think you want it more subtle.

thanks for the comments guys... might go with a silver pinstripe just for the neutral look. but we will c. i will post more pics once the car is pinstriped and clean haha.

i really don't know how much i would charge for a paint job... like i said i did it at work after hours. i love painting tho. there is just so many ways to make paint look good.

looking good. I like how the blue seems to pop more than regular hyper blue.

Two ideas...........

I would consider using:

1) Carbon Fiber pin striping

or

2) In keeping some MINI Cooper in the paint scheme, White and black checkerboard pin striping.....but not used as an outline for ALL of the black parts, maybe used selectively as a shadow edge to one side of each of the black extensions.....

Hmm I do wonder though, how much would it cost to do a paint job of this caliber? I want to switch colors...I'm digging that new Night Fire Red.

+1

Unique. The best design I've seen. I love the asymetrical look, too. In fact, after I saw the rear, It made me wish you had gone with an asymetrical front end too.

AWESOME! Silver might be good. You have retained the belt line and you have the polished lips on the rims. Silver might tie it all together? You could try Photoshopping it first or even use some pinstripe tape to see how it looks first (whatever color(s) you try). Maybe a pastel shade of the hyper blue? And do a pinstripe around the lip of the rims too? just brainstorming (or maybe brainfarting?)

So far, so good!!

i think silver would look good.. another idea i had was to not pinstripe it but to airbrush around the designs to give it a deeper look and to make it pop. but i don't know lol.
i really suck at photo shop... so if anyone is bored and wants to give me any ideas... fell free. haha
