Plasti-dip actually

Its only 4 torx screws and a wiring harness holding it on. I just popped it off, painted it, and threw it back on.

Finished the aero grill and belt line last night but it was too late to take pics so I had to wait until today.

Here is my blackout done on my 07 NFR MC. Mike from Aesthetic Creations did the work. My next step is adding 4Boogie's new wheels shown on page 1 of this thread. Can't wait.

What did you do to prime the surface? Any sanding or anything? I am not very familiar with plasti-dip yet. Yet! And I assume you did all the other bits with Plasti dip as well?

I did the headlight rings, boot handle, and emblems w/ plasti-dip

No need to sand or do any prep really

Its like a miracle product lol. Easy to use. Durable. And easy to remove if need be.

I got my stock rims painted black today. It looks MUCH better now lol.

I had my BBS wheels repainted with an anthracite finish, from this:

To this

Then changed my gauge faces from standard to black with white needles

Then changed the alloy effect dash & door cards with silver trim to black with dark grey

Very nice... I want to swap out gauge faces too on mine. Sucks they are so much money for such a small thing.

Did you take the boot handle off all the way, because I can't seem to figure out how to disconnect the electrical harness?

Yea I took it all the way off. Taking the panel off the inside of the boot might help see where the harness disconnects. I had to take mine off to plug it back in but I was able to unplug it from the outside. Its only like 5 philips head screws and that panel will just pop out. Also, VERY IMPORTANT, Leave the boot OPEN cause if you need to open it to plug the harness back in and you close it, you wont be able to open it. I found that out the hard way.

I got my windows tinted the other day so I guess I'll post pics. I painted my calipers red after I took this pic today but none of the pics came out as nice as this one :D

Okay, I got the panel off, no problem. The handle comes off, no problem. I still can't find where to unplug it. There is one connection that I just can't seem it undo. Did you unplug yours at the handle or a few inches down the wire, into the door in other words.

I feel so stupid, I know this is probably really easy, but I don't want to mess something up.

The connection is like 3 inches down the wire from the handle. It's a little tough to unplug but just show it who's boss and it'll undo
