i have a lot of plasti dip left over from other projects in the past on real applications

for those using it over the chrome on their cars - are you sanding down at all? or just spraying right on?

Just finished some cover-up mods. Excuse the dirtiness, it's cold outside.

Plasti-Dip on the hood scoop insert, red vinyl on the headlight rings, and reflective black vinyl on the headlight sprayers.

Without flash...(shows the sprayers and the S as black)

on pre-facelift cars, you just need to remove the outer cover (same as joey mod) then just take rubbing alcohol to the chrome, there's black underneath. I hear that post facelift has red under the chrome.

Can you share where you got those specific badges. They look great. What does the lettering say on your Grill?

My new favorite black R53! Beautiful dude! If you lowered it more, did something with the tail lights, and finish whats on your list... It would be the perfect mini.

just finished my HL rings, i did the gas cap earlier in the week, and the side repeaters yesterday....

the rings came out really crappy...plasti dip healed fine, but i guess they were too rock chipped and theres tons of pitting in the rubber now

oh well

waiting on a full blackout kit from aesthetic creations though, especially for the rest

Well, Here we go! Still have to do the door handles, but I am waiting because I am going to do the LED Door Handle Mod, as well as the LED Puddle light mod. Thinking maybe I will get the Altezza Tail lights?? Maybe?

I ordered two "R53" emblems (the "R" will be red and the "53" will be black) One for the boot and one for the grill in the right corner!

Home Depot Front Lip, thinking about doing the whole car with it!

my 06 r53 had red under the chrome. you have to use a dremel and cut the lens open for the taillights whereas the headlights you just heat up the glue. then i resealed the taillights with epoxy, it was a b*tch but looks good....

I started a local club here in montreal and I had those made for the club members. The one on the right of the picture is a badge from the dragon this past year.

Thanks, lol. I took them off to do the LED Door handle mod, and I probably put about 6 coats on them lol. I hope they don't start to peel. If anything it's only going to be the passenger door side because I know not to grab the whole handle. But we will see, I want to post an update in a couple of months to see how they are holding up!

Should I paint the silver on my rims black and the keep the dark grey part? I am considering it! Opinions?

^^ i think you should slam it and get the centres redone in the same colour as your car but leave the lips polished.

I already have ProMini Adjusters, planning on getting some springs in about a month or so, probably like a 1.3" drop. They are pretty much the exact same color. I will take a better picture later today! I wish I had center caps though!
