Hardware for stock spoiler?

I recently bought a used r53 stock spoiler for my Cooper 04. It was sold without the hardware. All it had were the threaded screws attached to the spoiler. I had a few questions I was hoping someone could help me with...
  • What hardware I will need to install the spoiler?
  • Where can I buy the hardware?
  • How much is a good price for installation (the two holes will need to be drilled)?
Thanks

The only hardware are the nuts that go on the studs and 2-sided tape. Both you can get at Home Depot. Get the outdoor 3-M red covered tape for that job.

In this pic

you see just to the right of the hing a black cap, remove that cap and thats where you will find the nut and hole for the R50 OEM Spoiler and I think it's also where you will find the same nut and hole for the R53 OEM Spoiler too. Best to get a confirm on that before you start drilling.

Measure 3 times then drill.

The spoiler has the unused two sided tape still on the spoiler. The studs are attached. Looks like all I need are the nuts. Anyone know the size of the nuts? Will i need washers?

Thanks for the website. The part was easy to find but I guess I can't order from that site. When I went to the mini site the part number didn't match what they had listed. I am putting this 06- S spoiler on my 04 Coupe. I did the research and the spoiler fits. So when I did the search on the mini site I search both for parts on the 04 coupe and 06-S.

Hi, I thought I could post here.

I have the stock MCS R53 spoiler none JCW. I am looking for a gasket installation for the rear spoiler on each side that has one hole on each side.

I try contacting the dealer and they didnt know which spoiler I had, because I gave them the car vin number and the spoiler tag number. They couldnt tell which spoiler I had. I thought it was odd. They told me that the Coopers had different spoilers.

Does anyone know what is the part number for the installation gasket for the stock "S" spoiler?

I checked online REALOEM.com and I think I found the part number which is #51717077794, but the diagram picture showing two holes. I only have one hole on each side, so I am not sure if this is the right one?

Anyone know?
Thanks.
