Yea, the painter had the car taken apart so I thought about painting the door handles but in the process of sanding the Brushed Aluminum came out of no where and I stuck with it. I did the eye lids as well

Looks good.
When I did my handles they looked the same before paint. Ever since then I have wanted to do a matte black and brushed theme.

Great Job Ubercoop!

Very cool brushed Aluminum look. Was it a wet sand with 2000 grit ?

With respect to rear window dirt buildup it would be interesting to see if there is any difference w/o the wing attached. Are you thinking of getting a mid-wing set up or going stealth ?

Thanks man, I used about 300 grit sand then used some scotch brite to go over it a little to give it the brushed effect.
And about the wing, I haven't had the chance to wash it. It came out of the body shop dirty. I think I might just keep the wing off, a lot of the wings on the market are way over priced.

Looks very nice, I do like the wingless look Just out of curiosity what had happened to the bonnet? The headlight looks pretty wrecked in that photo.

I should have explained the pictures, the ones with the strips are of the car before someone hit me. The new pictures are after replacing the hood and light

MINI looks good... except for the wingless boot.

Am I the only one who thinks a MINI looks odd without a spoiler of some kind ??

Looking good, are you thinking of getting a JCW wing? I think they look great and would match your black very nicely.

looove the wingless boot! I think it only works on aggressive looking mini's though, which is why it looks good on yours. well done
