Window shake/problems
I have an 03 Cooper S and have recently had a problem with the passenger side window. When you begin to roll the window down it begins to shake and slow down until it comes to a halt 4-5inches from its up position. When I try and roll it back up the window barely makes it back to the top. Im sure it has something to do with me friends closing the car door by the window.
Is the door panel that hard to remove? I think it just may need some grease in the window track. I dont have a ton of tools to do this, so Im trying to figure out if its worth it to operate on it at home or if I should take it in.

Door panel is super easy.
1. Cover a flat head screwdriver with tape so it doesn't scratch the paint.
2. Work your away around the interior door handle trim piece to pop it off
3. Pop off the reflector
4. remove screws, one is behind the arm rest. You have to wedge a flat object behind it from the forward side to lay down a piece to prevent it from sliding forward, thus allowing it to slide forward to reveal the last screw
5. Start at the lower back corner of the door and wedge the screw driver under it and pop it out. It takes some force, and is loud when it comes loose but do not worry. You then can peek behind to see where the other clips are located so you can accurately pop them out.
6. After the side and bottom clips are undone, pull the bottom of the panel out towards you, once it is at a 45º angle or so, the clips along the top of the door should start popping loose and it all comes off.
The hardest part is sliding something behind the front of the armrest to release it. Putting the panel back on by lining up the top clips is hard too, best technique I have found is to line the top back up, and give it a few good bumps with your fist in different spots to pop it back on, then you can pop the rest of the clips around the door back on.
