it's the camera, you can't take the photo with flash as the lights won't show up, and because its so dark, you make it so that the shutter stays open more time so more light show on the picture

Man you definitely did a better job than me, I need to add more!

The computer lights came out good except the passenger light had spazzed out and died by the time I went to take a picture. I tested them for like 5 minutes then came back later when it was dark to get a picture and it was buzzing. I guess thats one thing you will never encounter with LED's. It definitely looks awesome, I just need to order another tube for the passenger side. (~$2 + shipping).

I was wondering when people would start asking for updates, glad some of you took the initiative to start modding on your own. Summer school started a week ago and I highly underestimated the workload I would have, so I do not have hardly any free time currently and for the next few weeks.

Good grief that's super hot. I totally want this but have the mechanical aptitude and know-how of a 5 year old. (I touch; it fails).

I actually just want to change my int. door handle LEDs to blue from orange... and maybe light up my side door panel bit like the pics above or put LED tubing around/inside my front speakers (the ones near the knees). Obviously 2 problems - 1) I don't understand/know how to do it, 2) if I tried I'd shoot myself if I messed up my car and the trim.

Preferably I'd like to have someone else who knows how to do it, do it for me. lol. Know any good MINI Modders in the Philly area?? :D :D :D

You make it sound easy... But How do you remove the trim without messing it up?

And do you need fancy tools? Like, more than a screw driver... >_>

i did it with a flat screw driver
i didn't find the other tools so i grabbed one and see if it fitted and it did, so you really just need a screw driver :p then you remove the thing of the speakers and the door handle it just comes off by pulling it really easy, and the reflector thing theres a hidden screw there, and i almost forgot there a clip in the cushion thingy :P, it isn't so hard im 16

I just did one side of mine too. I ran out of light... :(

I forgot to mention, its an '04 so no puddle or door handle lights. Its easy to route the wire. And I also mounted mine in the silver part of the door, I thought it would look more OEM, but the light is too direct. I may end up diffusing the light a little.

Next project is actually to put LEDs in the outside door handles.

ouside the door handles that would be awesome , maybe connect it to the light thats on the bottom of the door so that it's only on when you unlock the car or open doors

I don't have those lights. That's and 05+ I am going to wire them into the same floor light as the lights in the door pocket. This way they come on and off with lock/unlock

We just did this to my friends xB. We installed a total of over 500 LED's (including 17 suplerflux's)... It's crazy!!! I haven't done anything crazy. Just replaced the factory lights with white Oznium flexible LED strips. Good jobs guys. Looks awesome. Oh! Superflux's in the cup holders are killer! You put a water bottle in there, and it's like nothing else. I'll have to post pictures later. Ah, found some pictures.

Mine.

I had thought about pulling my sun visors out, and putting a superflux in the hole where the arm was. Then wire that up to my interior dome light so they come on and illuminate down from the ceiling...
