I got pulled over once in Lima, when I was there for school, for my yellow bulbs. Probably 3 years ago now. It was a trooper and he said they were illegal. He let me go, and didn't give me a ticket or anything, so I never did anything.

I liked the way bulbs look better. I think the yellow film clashes too much when the lights are off. With bulbs you get the benefits of a yellow light and a clear housing when off.

From some of the research I've done there are thin films (stay aware from) and then there are thicker films that do indeed provide protection from debris. I am leaning towards a set sold by lamin-x (www.lamin-x.com).

not-so-rednwhitecooper - what's interesting is that I can't find anywhere in Ohio Revised Code that yellow lenses or covers are illegal. I was thinking of asking an officer his opinion of yellow headlights. Do you still have your yellow bulbs? Where did you get them?

I think he just wanted something to pull me over for.

No, they went wiith the car when I sold it. They were Nokya bulbs, of eBay.

I wanted to post this question on an existing thread, and this is the closest I could find. I have the Nokya hyper yellow bulbs in my high beams and an Alta light bar with the yellow lights. Does anyone know if our bumper lights can be swapped for the hyper yellow bulbs? I've looked everywhere and can't find them by any manufacturer in the 7507. BTW, that's the right bulb number too right? I don't want the blinker. I guess the terminology would be, what? running light?

Yea its just regular tint. Only 1 layer.

Lamin-x is alot lighter than mine so dont expect it to be as bright of a yellow. it'll be more like the silver car above.

My car looks pretty different now. Mainly because of the CF hood.

that looks sharp!!! I used window tint on my turn signals and it laid down fine, but the headlights are not going well and no tinter here wants to do the lights . i ordered the laminx and will see how it goes, if nothing else maybe i can split open the lights again and tint the inside of the lens
