I think I like it
One Problem:you must be skinny to get past those doors. Maybe they go higher?

the doors go out like a normal opening door and then go up (of course they don't go out as far but you get the idea)

I happen to like the doors on the mini, gives it a good pimp look

What company, where, and how much are these doors or are they a custom job? Do you mind how much it cost to custom make them, if they were custom. Thanks

Of all the mods I have seen on MCO this has got to be the most dramatic. I think I like it, but not quit sure yet. I sure would like to see it in person, were does this car live?

BTW, those plans are generic "how-to" You still got to find some one to fabricate it...

Pretty neat. That's a professional job for sure. Mighty expensive too. Those flip up door could come in handy when parking in very tight spaces, but other than that they are for pure show. I am sure the lift door mechanism adds a bunch of weight to the car up front and maybe even takes space.

Actually, I found a company on line that sells these gull wing door kits for several cars and they supposedly only add about 15lbs of weight.

Yes and the rear hatch has a video screen built in up at the top when the door is open. Neat
Also the dash is red and the ovals on the doors are red. That's alot of red!!

And as I said on MINI 2 "oh yeah, another riced out MINI that needs to be crushed into a cube and melted in a furnace"

For anyone who is interested check outdecah.net, they send you the entire kit...quite expensive unfortunately. They dont have a MINI kit, but maybe another one might work?

This guy is selling these for dozens of car models on Ebay. A few have minimum bids; only one has more than one bid--the Ford Probe. Nuf said!

It goes to prove that their are different strokes for different folks!!!. But, in my book those doors are a total abomination. Nice to see that some fabricator was able to craft the door mounts and make them fit. But, its sad to see a Cooper look like a Cockroach. What a waste ... Does anyone now if the exhaust was glass-pack to boot.

Cheers
