Tried to install the wheel locks this morning, but I poked around in the tool kit, no wrench included or did I miss something?

Gooday and aloha,
My MCS came with a black elongated bag that sat on the bottom left side of my rear boot and a smaller brightly colored tool bag on the inside of my left rear wheel well-use the access door to get it. The needed lug wrench was in the black bag along with the hand jack and a small wheel block. If you still cannot find anything like this then contact your service rep at the dealership. Someone is out there using your tools to change the tires off unsuspecting MINI owners.

Even if you do find a lug wrench in the boot, you should go to the tool store and get a socket and a torque wrench - if you are going to be doing anything with the wheels, it's important to torque the lugs evenly and completely ... if not turned enough, they Will come loose ...

Well, found the wrench...problem with only being 100 lbs is you can't loosen the bolts. I think I'll just have the oil change place put the bolts on when I do my break in change...I'm at 1100+ miles..yay!

if you decide to diy, the nut heads on the bolts and key are 17mm.
if you go to either sears or most autoplace stores, they sell telescoping
wrenches with sockets. You might want to try that and keep it
in your boot afterwards.

I use standard craftsman (sears) 1/2" rachet with 17mm deep
sockets.

extra: that factory jack Mini gives us kicks butt. i like it a lot.

If you happen not to be a large person with an excess of mass (like me and some others) then you can still use your lug wrench with a short 2 foot pipe over the wrench which will extend the lever arm of the wrench and make it very easy to free the stuck lug nut. A hardware store might have a short piece of scrap pipe they could part with or sell cheap with just enough diameter to go over the lug wrench itself. About a 1.5 or less than 2 inch diameter pipe works well.
