Hello everyone! I have a question about...
Hi, I'm a noob member joined this forum about a month ago,,, and I recently got my hands on 05-06 oem xenon kit. Well, I really wanted to do the joey mod and it was successful,,, but I live in AZ and apparently the the paint could not stand the AZ sun...
the surface of the shrouds were perfect before I parked the car out in the sun.... and the paint was supposed to be heavy duty auto/metal anti rust stuff....
now i'm wondering if I should pay bodyshop to prime the parts and paint..
Please let me know if you know a good paint!! thanks in advance!!
p.s. I have a set of oem projector and shrouds if anyone is interested : )

mine bubbled up a bit..but then again..mine was cause of the high beams..
i guess i didnt let my paint dry for enough time?
but depending on how much a paint shop charges, i'd say get it done..as long as they can give you warranty or something like that on the paint incase it bubbles up again or if anything happens.
you did give it drying time right?

Well Thanks guys!!!
I didnt get an estimate from body shop yet but I painted kidney grill and some other plastic pieces in M3 from a body shop..
Primed and double coat of the oem paint was $50,,, so im thinking the whole process won't be more than $150-200.
Painting myh own stuffs are really fun but I guess I would have to get professionals handle this one...

I paid $300 for painting front bumper... but I bitched at the painter for bubbles and got a perfect job.
I just finished removing the paints on the headlight parts, and sand-papered them... took about 4hours....
I'll post some pics when its all done
