Well, it's going to be more work trying to reglue them and get them to sit flush, also if I replace one lens I have to do the other or they will look different because the clearness. I am just going to sell them for parts, they are xenons so I should get some cash for them. Planning on just buying new lights from eBay. Thanks for all the help everyone! It was worth a try! I will post pics later!

buy a cheap halogen and use the lens from that. the key with this is to keep heating the glue. is an **** ache, but patience pays off

Yea you need to use heat on it constantly, if you have a heat gun KEEP IT MOVING do not let it stay in one spot or you will distort the housing. another idea is to remove all the bulbs and ballast and put them in the oven at about 200 degrees to warm up the housing then pry the lens off. i did mine with the heat gun and it took about 15-20 minutes per light, but i went slow.

Yeah, I am just going to sell mine for parts, because if I buy a used halogen, the lens will have to be just as faded as my other side or it will look weird lol. Go to the thread and read it, I just posted more info!

Works heat works great for 05 & 06, but 04 and earlier not so easy.
I have an 04 and will convert to the later lights if I do the Joey mod.

Well I am going to post a thread about the eBay halo headlights because the threads i have found about them do not answer that many questions. They should be here Friday and we will see. The only thing I am confused about with them is I heard they have an extra light in the housing. It's three lights instead of two. I guess we will see.

I have been looking at this type of light on ebay for a while, and I will be interested to see if these will work in place of my xenons. Good luck with the project.

Yeah, I bought the ones exactly like that but with the white halo. The high beam is the halo light and the low beam is the projector. Then there is that other light which I probably won't hook up but It can be for a blinker/parking light but since we already have those on the bumper there is no need but I will see how it looks. The light output isn't going to be as hear as good as the xenons because it's a projector meant for a halogen but I heard it's not bad. My only problem is I know they all say no hid's in them. But since an hid bulb uses less heat why would there be a problem? It wouldn't melt? Any idea??!? Turns out they won't be here til Monday now, that sucks!

The Ebay halos cant' handle a HID element because there's no room to mount the ballast for the HID. Second, you would have to completely redesign the housing to mount the lamp. I have both the Ebay halo and the Xenon HID headlights, so I know of what I speak.
I'm wondering what questions about the Ebay halo projector headlamps Fatherdeth and I didn't answer in this thread below?

There's not much more I can think of to warrant a new thread--the whole idea of forums is to keep the duplication of threads down to reduce search time, surely.

I am talking about a seprate HID Kit with the ballast on the outside, I have one mounted on my bike. Not the xenon bulb stock comes with.

Have you tried polishing the lens? Try some Meguiar's Plast-X on a rotary or a random orbital and see if that will cut it. Otherwise some cutter (AKA: compound) or even wet-sanding and then working your way up from there.

Like I said though, the other one is cracked, and I ordered new ones so I am just selling them for parts. But that is a good idea!
