Boost gauge FINALLY!

So I decided to finally buy and install a boost gauge in the mini. I am getting severely worse MPG as I'm now addicted to watching the needle hit 15psi @ 7200rpm The install was fairly straight forward until it came to the wiring of the light bulb, in which case I have ZERO patience for hunting out a grey/red wire among ~50 other TINY wires in the wiring harness with hands the size of lunchboxes . But once you get the wiring done fire up the car, it all seems worth it! Anyways, take a look at the pics and let me know what you think, and if you have any questions about the install don't hesitate to ask!

Cheers

^^ Scangauge (Best instrument ever)

Very clean. I need to change to the one that reads up to 20 and not 30 :(

Looks good, I might just have to get one as well. Where did you buy the gauge from?

Why? It seems like overkill, but it does the same thing as the 20. You're fine with the one that reads 30.

Thanks for the response! I am used to working on DSM's (Evo's and such) but on these cars, a spare vacuum port is a rare commodity!

You guys do know that you can get the stock boost gauge out of an SRT-4 for cheap. They are an autometer 30/20 gauge.

Most Srt-4's have bigger turbos now & have switched to a 30/30 gauge (some need to read higher than that as well). You can find these in For Sale threads in a lot of Neon/SRT forums & on E-bay as well
