Guys, i am a new owner and was looking into purchasing a set of sidewalk edition seats for my 04 MINI cooper S. I would assume the front seats bolt right up, i am concerned with the rear seats. Being that the seats are from a convertible and mine is not? Does anyone have any experience with this?

Im trying to work this out, i have sidewalk seats for my 05 from an 07, so far the aibag plugs dont match but it should be a cut and splice since i have the new harness as well from an 07... As far as the convertible go's it should be the same...

Will do, im also going to dynamat the floors and all as well since im in taking out seats..

 

Convertible rear seats will not fit an '04. The seat is narrower to accommodate the roof mechanism, and there are other differences for the roll bar (e.g. no headrests). The front passenger seat will have some difference in the connectors because an '04 doesn't have the seat pad sensor.

 

does the 05 model have the pad sensor

 

Your looking at the set on ebay nice, but yeah the rears wont work after further investigating
