Does the suede on the A pillars prevent the airbags from deploying?

That is one awesome amount of work put into that interior. Did you do all that work yourself?

Yes. It happened so that 2 months ago I found my current car and couldn't resist buying it

Thanks. It really was a lot of work. And it isn't finished yet - i thought about down tubes in carbon fibre and other grey coloured plastic too. But from the beginning (i bought this Cooper in early 2008) it was lack of power (only 115 hp - U know
) - that's why I decided to change a car.

No curtain airbags on that Cooper. When the airbag deploys the A-pillar (plastic) fall down without breaking - that's why i think that suede or leather on these surfaces is indangerous.

Thank you. The terms were so long cause we did it during our free time (i work at the car workshop). My crew helped me
