Here is a picture of mine. It was expensive, but worth it in the end. I purchased all new trim pcs to do this and kept the old. I can always return to stock if I want.

I'm planning on taking it in and having it all replaced under warranty, but I dreaded the thought of leaving my car at the dealer and having them tear into my car. I'm so glad you put this up, because now I can go show them, have them order the new moldings and then I'll install them myself. Thanks again Chad.

Go to AutoZone and buy Mothers Back-to-Black. Simpley wipe the solution on the black trim and it will be be back to the show room black look in a matter of minutes. Inexpensive and works great. My '02 MCS trim looks like new.

First I want to say thanks for the write up.
If I new it was that easy I would have done it a long time ago. My Aero Skirts and Rear have been sitting in my garrage for years. The kit was for my 03, but I now have an 06 MCS since 06. (Fits fine BTW)
I was unsure of the install so it took me 4hrs, but if you follow the directions all will be well. Fortunately, I had all the needed clips.

It's finally done, and I even added a few vortex generators, fins, or whatever you call them to smooth out the turbulance coming off the rear spoiler.
Vegas is a big dust bowl in the desert. Fun, but hella dusty, I must say after installing the fins (See Pic) "Tonka's" fat @ss is cleaner after driving.

Again thanks for the write up. (Tonka = My Mini)

Oh yea! For you Eagle Eye critics the fins are not straight, they are angled as directed. (Approx 15deg)

Hope this helps. my fender/arch/wheel trim/molding or whatever the hell they call it was coming off, clips were broken and i broke some on the rear side trying to replace the side marker lights. was a little pain in the **** trying to find the right clips so i made this PDF file that might ease the pain.
