Need help with rocker panel switch.

I am switching my 04 Cooper to S-rocker panels. I have done this many times on BMWs but these are giving me trouble. The fasteners at the bottoms of the car just turn and turn, even if I put opposite pressure on them.

Is there a how-to (did a search)? Any help would be appreciated.

use a pair of pliers to hold the outside housing, and then unscrew. im pretty sure they use those expanding screw things.

Thanks for that - it did the trick.
