D, its still stealth'y, the flames are shadow flames and you kind of have to look for them, the pic I took was at the angle to see them, most people have to do a double take because you see them but they are not "Bam"! but they sneak up on you. the pic does not do it justice, on the top/side view you can not see the bonette flame becasue of the angle. Thanks for the comments, thats one think I wanted to make sure they were not "Loud" or "distasteful" I think Eric helped me do that with these. He has a place and does lots of custom work, and the price's are really good.
The driveway is wet, its a bit on a hill, and I had been cutting tile for one of those projects that goes on forever that my wife keep on me about, still found time to snap some quick shots. I really got to find the right angle that will show the monk at his best.

I like the shadow flames, subtle until you notice them. From afar it can look stealthy and all black. But up close there is more detail. What about a gold tinged shadow-very light on the gold?
Also the bumper bra is good- my paint is all chipped up already just from 8000 miles of regular driving. Gotta repaint or get a new bumper at some point at this rate.

thanks, gold? Hmmm
On the Bra, its a two part, I only put the bottom part on, it gets banged up the most and keeping the bottom part on keeps the look like I want it, the top part is a pain, but its still new, I only put it on a few times, I like the look with just the bottom, but thats just me.

>>Darxar...what happened to your scoop? No more silver CF? How come it's now a flat black?
sold it, playing around, the flat matches the flames, just trying to get the look i want. I'm thinking of the scoop grill mod, making the grill behind the scoop silver or chrome, to give it some depth. just having fun. the scoops are only about 60 or so from the dealer. so if i really screw up I can get one back to stock with no problem.

Darxar, I'd do the scoop grille. I cut out 2, and painted one black when I painted my scoop black. Black is hard to notice, but the silver one looks sharp. I guess I've gotten my money's worth on it though, cause there are a few chips out of the paint on the grille already. I think I might swap the silver back in for the pulley party this weekend.
Earl, I got my 2nd scoop from Brian at Classic Auto Campus (check the sponsor section) for about $59 I think. It came primed, and I didn't do as good a job painting it as I could have. My 1st time. That's my excuse. Damn impatience!
