They told me it would be covered under the manufacturer's "finish" warranty. It was within 1 year for me. I'm not sure about your situation though, that's why I went with the OZ replacements.

Sorry about your wheels, it's too bad the wheels don't have a better quality, I really think they look great on our cars.

very interesting car. definitely liked the eyelids. i think if you planed (sp) the splitter a little thinner it would look better.

curious though. what material did you use to make your splitter? good work!

The splitter was made from some plastic my dad had lying around the garage. It has metal brackets glued/screwed on the bottom and bolted to the bumper from underneath to give it some rigidity. If I went thinner it wouldn't stand a chance.

I went to Indy this weekend and Waylen from Way Motor Works hooked me up with some awesomeness!

New additions:

- 15% supercharger pulley w/ Detroit Tuned tensioner stop
- JCW 380cc fuel injectors
- 1 stage colder spark plugs
- Screamin' Demon coil pack and new plug wires (time to replace the plug wires anyway, and I had corrosion on my #3 lead on the stock coil pack, so I did it all)
- WMW quick tune (ecu remap written by Way, dyno was unavailable this weekend)
- H-sport competition rear sway bar

The car feels brand new! Acceleration is super smooth and I no longer have huge lags with the AC turned on (this is mostly thanks to the WMW quick tune). The added boost is nice too! The car just feels ready and willing to take orders.

Thanks WMW!

It's black vinyl. The vinyl will crack if you have the grooved grill surrounds. I have taken it off nor, but I liked it while it was on.

I'm not sure if there is a thread on that. Trial and error is always fun. Sorry I can't help more. Good luck!

The lower grill (which is hard to see in those pics) is silver to match the scoop insert and the silver vinyl. In those pics you can't rally see either one. You're probably talking about the red on the actual bumper section. I got that done because I like the smooth look and my aero front came painted already so I didn't want to fill the gap on the bumper and then get it all painted.

Better pics, although not clean, will come soon.

You have to take off the GP insert right now, it is so FAIL it's not even funny.

Aero and front grill look wicked, really like that.

Need to get it lowered....maybe grey inserts for the aero front fog surrounds.

But please...please....PLEASE lose the GP insert, your car isn't a GP.

I like the black wings on the mini badge, and the OZ wheels and the fat oval exhaust, badge delete on the ***.

But overall, I think your mini looks cheesy with the GP inserts, S on bumper, silver grills, transformers badge, nissan gtr style front, middle grill fill-in (it looks better if it was properly filled in).

You mean my red 03 Cooper isn't a GP? just kidding. I was actually sent the wrong sticker, I ordered the silver outer vinyl but they sent the wrong one and I just kept it. Anyway, they're both on there for now and staying. I'm not trying to fake it. It just looks good. I also have thought about pure silver inserts for the fog areas, so that will probably happen, but maybe not until the spring.

As far as the transformers sticker, that is also staying, along with the "cheesy aero grill insert". I love that piece.

I know you had critiques too, but thanks for the compliments guys.

Great job not losing your cool.
Will say removing the GTI mask seems more comfortable to me.

Thanks! I do feel like it's time for it to look like a mini again. And I'm not sure it was clear, but anyone who thinks I'm posing should know that my original, and current plan will have a different vinyl where "GP" is. For now it's just a filler.

Keep the comments coming guys.

That's good to hear. And I know you like that S on the bumper, but you car would be so much cleaner with out it IMHO.

Love the S on the bumper, also the blacked out headlight washers. "Stay the Course!"
