REPLACING HORN WITH WOLO 'BAD BOY'

Hi

Just joined, and look forward to participating.

I have a 2002 Mini Cooper S, I want to replace the standard horn with a
WOLO Bad Boy. Immediate question is - how do I access the factory horn, it seems to be tucked down on the left hand corner and almost inaccessible?

Help and advice much appreciated.

I think one has to remove the wheel and wheel well liner to start the access.

Remove front end bumper cover, which might actually be a little easier. I had my front end off to replace the radiator fan, and remember seeing the horn(s)? and how easy it would have been to replace them if I wanted to.

I'll get some photos for you the bad boy horn is a TIGHT fit. And i you're using the bad boy, and removing both stock horns, make sure you get to bad boys, it's high pitched and not very loud. I've got one for now, it's only loud in the garage, but it's held up to the elements better than my stock horns did.

I did the bumper off the front and got it done while I was doing other work up there.

Had to replace the horn in our SUV, and I used a so called "Bad Boy". Well it ain't anywhere near as loud as the R56 MINI horn. I don't know what they cost but the factory MINI horn is the best I have heard.
